PESSAT - PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)

PESSAT 2022 exam date has been postponed by PES University. PESSAT 2022 will now be conducted from June 20 to July 10 instead of June 10 to 30. The exam will be held online as a computer-based test at the PES University campus as well as in several other cities across the state.

The last date to apply for PESSAT 2022 is also extended. Candidates who opt for the exam centre outside Bengaluru can apply till June 6 while the last date to fill application form for candidates who wish to appear in the exam at the PES University campus is June 13.  PESSAT application form 2022 is available online. Interested candidates can fill the application form using the direct link given below. PESSAT slot booking will start from June 14.

The shortlisting of candidates for PES University B.Tech admission will be based on the PESSAT 2022 entrance exam. Admissions into BTech programs will be provided only after qualifying the PESSAT 2022 exam. Students preparing to appear for the exam should check the PESSAT syllabus and exam pattern. PESSAT stands for People's Education Society Scholastic Aptitude Test. It is conducted by PES University for admission to BTech programs and various other programs offered by the institute. Candidates are shortlisted based on their test score as well as their performance in the personal interview round.

PES University has announced the complete schedule of PESSAT 2022 exam, application form, admit card, result and counselling. Candidates can check below details about the PESSAT exam date 2022, last date to apply, slot booking, result and counselling schedule.

Admissions to PES University will be through the entrance exam. Candidates need to first fill the application form and appear in the exam. The detailed step-by-step PESSAT admission process can be checked below. 

STEP 1: Application process

Candidates can apply for PESSAT by filling a form online. To apply online, the candidate will need to register as a new user. On successful registration, the candidates will get their login IDs. 

STEP 2: Slot booking

After submission of the form, the candidates will be asked to book a slot for the exam. Once they have booked their slot, admit card will be issued. The candidates must download their admit card

STEP 3: PESSAT 2022

PESSAT 2022 for all courses except B Tech will be conducted at the Bangalore campus. B Tech exam will be held at over 40 test centers across the country.

STEP 4: Counselling/Interview

Candidates passing PESSAT 2022 will be called for Counselling and interviews, based on their scores. A merit list will be released which will contain ranks and schedules for the same. 

PES University has released the application form of PESSAT 2022. Interested candidates need to fill the application form within the specified dates and appear in the exam. At the time of applying for PESSAT 2022, candidates also need to upload their scanned image of passport size colour photo. • Click on the "New Candidate Registration" link
• Fill the required details and click on submit button to complete the registration process
• After registration, fill the detailed application form
• Upload scanned image of passport size colour photo
• Pay application fee 

Application forms will be automatically submitted post successful submission of the application fees. Candidates should download and take a printout of their filled application form to keep it safe until the completion of the admission process.

PES University will start the slot booking process from June 14. Every candidate who register for the PESSAT 2022 need to book a slot for appearing in the exam. Only after booking a slot, a candidate will be allowed to appear in the exam. Post successful slot booking, candidates will be issued PESSAT admit card 2022. The step by step procedure for PESSAT slot booking is given below:

• Click on the "Registered Candidate Login" link
• Login using application number and password
• Click on PESSAT 2022 Slot Booking link
• Select the city, date of exam and time from the available options
• Click on "Confirm" button
• Download the confirmation page of slot booking

Once the slot booking is done, candidates will be issued PESSAT admit card. Candidates need to download and take a printout of their admit card as it has to be carried to the exam centre on the day of the exam.

Details about PESSAT exam date and time, address of the exam centre, candidates basic details like roll number, name, photo, signature, parents details and exam day instructions will be mentioned on the admit card. It is mandatory to carry the admit card to the exam centre on the exam day as NO candidate will be allowed to appear in the paper without PESSAT 2022 admit card.

The result of PESSAT 2022 exam will be announced on July 14. Results will be declared online on the PES University website Candidates will have to login to the website using their application number and password for checking the result. Details about subject wise marks secured in the exam and All India Rank will be mentioned in the score card. Candidates who will be declared qualified will be eligible for admission to the institute. Shortlisting of candidates for BTech admission will be on the basis of PESSAT 2022 score.

Candidates need to keep safe their scorecard as it will be required at the time of counselling and the admission process.

PES University will start the counselling for admission in July third week. The exact date for PESSAT counselling 2022 will be notified after the declaration of the result. Counselling will be conducted in a total of two rounds. The first round will be conducted in July and the second round in August. The complete process of PESSAT counselling will be online wherein all qualified candidates will be required to register online. 

At the time of counselling registration, candidates will have to enter their choices of specializations and campus. The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of score in the PESSAT 2022 exam. Post allotment of seats, candidates will have to deposit the seat confirmation fees online to confirm their admission. The date for reporting to the institute will be notified to the candidates after the confirmation of admission by the institute.

• MRD Scholarships: If a student secures rank in the top 20% of his/her class (section) in terms of CGPA for a particular academic year, then he/she will get a tuition fee waiver of 40% for the next academic year of study (executed on a semester basis).
• Distinction Awards: If a student scores a CGPA of 7.5 and above for a particular year, then he/she would receive cash prize money as a distinction award. 
• Corporate Scholarships: Many corporates offer scholarships for the students of PSE University in the final year of their education based on merit.
• Rural Scholarship: PES University offers free engineering education to the selected number of students coming from rural backgrounds every year.
• Scholarship for Teaching: Students who will assist their professors in teaching their students shall be compensated for the work.
